Kenyon Mausoleum

Although the exterior has a Gothic doorway and windows, the interior, with its domed ceiling and barrel vaults to either end, is classical in form.   It is built of knapped flint with stone dressings and the windows have some stained glass.

The mausoleum was built by Julia Ann Kenyon to house the
remains of her husband, Captain J P M Kenyon, a veteran of Waterloo. It also contains her mortal remains and those of another, unidentified, person.

Condition

Much overgrown but apparently still sound (2008).
