Ffrench Mausoleum

Freestanding mausoleum built on a square ground plan, taking the form of a medieval tower house.  Snecked Wicklow granite walls having crenelated parapet and battered base plinth.  Recessed panel to principal elevation containing armorial shield.  Paired ogee-headed windows to north and south having stained glass.  Tripartite tracery window to east having stained glass by Mayer of Munich.  Pointed-arched entrance door to west elevation having timber door with decorative strapwork hinges. 

Recumbent effigy of Robert Percy Ffrench to interior with stone staircase descending to vault beneath.
