Fellowes Mausoleum

This mausoleum is, like the Herbert mausoleum, attached to the south side of All Saints Church but at the west, rather than the east, end. Both mausolea look very similar, being faced with ashlar and having low-pitched roofs. There is no access to either building and it seems likely that both were sealed, and perhaps altered externally, at the same time.

His wife, Elizabeth (d.1845) and three children, all of whom pre-deceased him, are also buried in the vault.

Condition

Some running repairs have been carried out but more work needs to be done (2002).
