This is a sumptuous mausoleum designed in the Byzantine style. It is built of alternate courses of red brick and white Portland stone and the dome is pierced by thermal windows. The door is of bronze and used to have glass panels. There is stained glass in the windows and the inner surface of the dome inside is clad with mosaic.

This is the family grave of J D Campbell (dates unknown) who, according to the inscription, was “late of Peru”. He is not buried in the mausoleum. The first interment is that of Charles Edward Campbell (1871-1906) probably J D Campbell’s son. The mausoleum also contains the body of Delmira Vargas de Campbell (1836-1906) presumed to be J D Campbell’s widow.
2002: Exterior, fairly good (some stonework is missing from the rear edge of roof) but the interior has been vandalised (2002).
2023: Remains in good condition but little maintenance has been carried out recently (July 2023).
